Travel Smart Part 2

Your skin goes through a lot when you’re travelling. The dry and germy air isn't a pleasant atmosphere, so it's important to take the right steps in keeping it clean and healthy looking.

For morning flights, if I'm going to my selected destination, I always wear make up because most likely I'll be out and about all day, and that's okay but to keep your face looking refresh takes a few simple steps.

1. Keep your makeup simple. Light foundation, neutral eye and mascara are all you really need. Swipe on some gloss and you're good to go.
2. As previously posted, keep a small bottle of face mist with you to apply during the flight and before you land, this will keep your skin feeling fresh.
3. Keep a small makeup bag with you during the flight, with cream blush and mascara. They'll help you look refreshed and awake before you land.

If you're travelling in the evening/late at night to your destination or going home, going makeup free with moisturizer is the best, so once you arrive all you need to do is wash your face.

A makeup bag for your bag will be essential when travelling as you can carry all the necessary products. It can also save you room in your luggage if you take travel size products.

A neutral bag like this is chic for travelling and easy to clean.

The price tag may be large, but the final result is worth it. Curling your eyelashes will make you look awake, especially after a long day of travelling.

Shu Umera Eyelash Curler

Not only will blush put some colour back into your face after flying, but going with cream will help moisturize as well.
Stila Convertible Colour Blush

Look awake and make your eyes pop after flying with a swipe of mascara (waterproof optional).
L'Oreal Voluminous Waterproof Mascara

Keep a neutral colour pencil eyeliner with built in smudger in your bag, so you can do any touch ups before landing.
Clinique Quick Liner for Eyes

Flying makes skin and lips dry, so go for a lip balm with a light tint.
Clinique Chubby Stick Baby Tint Moisturizer

Keeping your hands moisturized during travelling is very important. Go for a cream that isn't greasy and absorbs fairly quickly.
