2015 Cannes Film Festival

The Cannes Film Festive recently ended and this year, as previous ones, it showcased some gorgeous looks. Here are my top 3 favourites.

Charlize Theron in Dior Couture, with Chopard Jewels and Jimmy Choo Shoes. Firstly, the colour of this gown is incredible. The cut and style are perfectly complimented for simplicity and elegance.

Emma Stone in Dior Couture with Jennifer Meyer Stud, Repossi Choker and Jimmy Choo Shoes. The metallic style of this dress is so beautiful. I love the open back and the way she accessorized with a choker.

Diane Kruger in Prada with Jimmy Choo Shoes The beading on this dress is stunning. A halter style with open back and almost sheerness, make it truly gorgeous.

Basic Closet Organization Tips

Today I did a major closet clean and organization. Looking through things made me realize just how much my style has changed over the years, how it's still evolving and that keeping pieces "just because" is never a good idea. Here are a few helpful hints that I have learnt:

-If you haven't worn in it in a certain amount of time (e.g., summer pieces, winter pieces), get rid of it.

-If you're not sure, try it on. Make sure it fits properly, as "fitted" and "tight" are two different things. -If you know something needs tailoring, set it aside.

-Style changes, as I've learnt over the years and there will always be those "why did I buy this" moments.

-Try to keep pieces together: t-shirts, blouses, sweaters, etc...

I love the freshness that comes with wearing white. Whether you go head to toe, or just wear one piece, it can be a great neutral to wear especially in warmer weather.
